Lead Scoring & Filtering
GroupHunter automatically assigns every member a lead score from 0–100. Use scores and filters to focus on your highest-quality leads.
Understanding Lead Scores
Each member's score is calculated at capture time based on:
| Factor | Points |
|---|---|
| Email provided | +30 |
| Phone provided | +20 |
| All questions answered | +20 |
| Answer quality (length & detail) | up to +30 |
Score ranges:
- 80–100 — Excellent lead. Provided email + phone, answered all questions in detail
- 50–79 — Good lead. Provided email, answered most questions
- 20–49 — Moderate. Partial answers, may have email
- 0–19 — Low quality. Minimal answers, no contact info
Filtering by Lead Score
On the All Members page:
- Click the Lead Score filter
- Set a minimum score (e.g. 60)
- The list updates to show only members at or above that threshold
This is the fastest way to find your best leads for personal outreach.
Other Filters Available
On the All Members page you can combine multiple filters:
| Filter | How to Use |
|---|---|
| Search | Type name, email, or keyword from their answers |
| Group | Filter to members from a specific group |
| Status | All, Approved, or Pending |
| Tags | Show only members with a specific tag |
| Lead Score | Minimum score threshold |
All filters are applied server-side, so they work even with thousands of members.
Using Tags to Segment Leads
Tags are a manual way to organise members beyond the automated score:
- On All Members, click + tag on any member row
- Select or create a tag (e.g. "Hot Lead", "Follow Up", "Booked Call")
- Filter by that tag later to see your segmented list
Tags persist and can be used across all pages. Manage your tag library under Members → Tags.
Exporting High-Score Leads
For personalised outreach to top leads:
- Filter All Members to your desired score threshold (e.g. 70+)
- Your Google Sheet (if connected) already has all these members — filter by lead score column in the sheet
- Export from Google Sheets for use in email tools or CRM
Improving Your Lead Quality
If your average lead score is low:
- Ask better membership questions — explicit "What's your email?" question raises scores significantly
- Require email in Autoapprove settings — only approve members who meet minimum quality
- Use minimum answer length — filters out single-word responses
See Capture Emails for tips on maximising email capture rate.
