Importing Your Groups
Once the extension is installed and Facebook is connected, the next step is importing your Facebook Groups into GroupHunter. This allows you to manage all your Groups from one central dashboard.
Auto-Import Process
GroupHunter can automatically import all Groups where you have admin or moderator access.
Step 1: Navigate to Groups Page
- Open the GroupHunter Dashboard
- Click Groups in the left sidebar
- You'll see the Groups management page
Step 2: Sync Your Groups
- Click the Sync Groups button (top-right)
- The extension will:
- Open Facebook in the background
- Scan for Groups where you're an admin/moderator
- Extract Group names, IDs, member counts
- Send the data to the dashboard
- Wait 10-30 seconds for the sync to complete
The first sync may take longer if you admin many Groups. Subsequent syncs are faster.
Step 3: Review Your Groups
After syncing, you'll see a list of all your Groups:
| Group Name | Members | Status | Actions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Marketing Masters | 12,453 | Active | Settings, Sync, Disable |
| Entrepreneurs Hub | 8,201 | Active | Settings, Sync, Disable |
| Fitness Community | 5,892 | Disabled | Enable |
Each Group shows:
- Name — The Facebook Group name
- Members — Total member count
- Status — Active (enabled) or Disabled
- Actions — Quick action buttons
