Bulk Actions
Review and process multiple pending member requests from the GroupHunter dashboard without needing to go back to Facebook.
Where to Find Bulk Actions
Go to Members → Pending Requests in the sidebar. This page shows all members who haven't been approved or declined yet — including those not matched by your auto-approve criteria.
Reviewing Pending Members
Each pending member shows:
- Name and Facebook profile link
- Group they requested to join
- Membership question answers
- Extracted email (if any)
- Lead score
- Date of request
Use this information to decide who to approve or decline manually.
Manual Approval
Click the Approve button on any pending member to approve them directly from the dashboard. GroupHunter will:
- Approve them in Facebook (via the extension, if running)
- Send the welcome message (if configured)
- Move them to the All Members list
- Write their data to Google Sheets (if connected)
Manual Decline
Click Decline to decline a member. GroupHunter will:
- Decline them in Facebook (via the extension, if running)
- Send the decline message (if configured)
- Move them to the Declined Members list
Info — The Chrome extension must be running for GroupHunter to execute approval or decline actions on Facebook. If the extension is not running, the status is updated in the dashboard but the Facebook action may be queued.
Working Through the Pending List
The Pending page supports:
- Search — find specific members by name or email
- Group filter — show pending members from a specific group only
- Pagination — navigate through large pending queues
Process the list from top to bottom, approving and declining as you go. Automation handles the routine cases — the Pending list is for edge cases that need a human decision.
Adding Tags Before Approving
Before approving a member, you can add a tag to categorise them:
- Click the + tag on their row
- Add a tag (e.g. "VIP", "Hot Lead", "Agency Owner")
- Then click Approve
The tag carries over to their All Members record.
Automation vs. Manual Review
If your auto-approve and auto-decline criteria are well configured, most members should be processed automatically. The Pending list should only contain members who:
- Didn't quite meet approve criteria (but weren't declined)
- Matched neither approve nor decline criteria
If you're seeing many members in Pending, consider tightening your auto-approve criteria or adding auto-decline rules. See Auto-Approve Members for guidance.
